Project Engineer - Asset Management

As a Project Engineer within the Asset Management department, you will be at the forefront of executing technical projects for terminals, ensuring the seamless construction and modification of physical assets.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the engineering and construction of Capex projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Assist the Asset Manager in the design and construction of bulk liquid storage facilities and related equipment.
  • Review and ensure the quality of field construction work, and manage the commissioning and closing of projects.
  • Develop project cost estimates in collaboration with MR&I Engineers and Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Implement programmes to ensure adherence to government and regulatory requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor s or master s degree in mechanical engineering, EI&A, Civil, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in terminal or related industries, with a proven track record in project engineering.
  • Familiarity with standards and codes relevant to bulk liquid storage facilities, such as API, EEMUA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and CFR.
  • Experience with planning software (e.g., MS Projects, Oracle Primavera) and Autodesk products (e.g., AutoCAD) is advantageous.
  • Proven safety leadership, self-motivation, flexibility, and the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
