My client is an established, reputable, customer-centric Financial Services business, specialising in the provision of finance to businesses across the UK. The award-winning business has been around for over 30 years with a great team and a inclusive and supportive culture.


They are now looking for an Internal Account Manager to join their team based in Wakefield. You will be responsible for supporting two Regional Account Managers with their existing accounts and sales pipeline, ensuring that you are achieving and exceeding sales targets through maintaining contact with key relationships and providing administrational support.


This is a fast paced role in what can be a pressurised environment with deadlines so requires good verbal and written communication, numeracy and organisation skills. This is a full time, permanent and office based role.


Responsibilities of the Internal Account Manager include;

  • Producing finance quotations accurately and efficiently for partners and customers as required.
  • To manage and update the pipeline of opportunities ensuring all opportunities are followed up and progressed, accurately reflecting the current position on the CRM system.
  • To provide a reliable point of contact for accounts and handle any enquiries required.
  • To secure and collate any required information to ensure the sales process in progressing efficiently.


Key Skills/Behaviours of the Internal Account Manager:

  • Have good communication skills, both written and verbal and have excellent telephone manner.
  • Good numeracy skills and be confident working with numbers.
  • Be hard working, proactive and enthusiastic.
  • Good time management skills and able to prioritise workloads to ensure targets are met.
  • High attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.


As a result, you will be rewarded with a fantastic salary of up to £28,000 + bonus up to 25% and will be working with a great supportive, experienced team.
