Sheet Metalworker

Sheet Metal Workers required for busy workshop in North West London

Our client, a steel fabrication company is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator to join their friendly team on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned and highly skilled sheet metal worker with a minimum of 5 years' experience.

They will be proficient in the fabrication, forming, bending and shaping of various types of metals, working to drawing specifications using both traditional hand tools and methods as well as modern day machinery.

Requirements:

• Able to read and work to technical drawings and blueprints
• Work to fine limit tolerances
• Previous experience with aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, copper and brass.
• CNC and manual brake press programmer, setter and operator.
• Fly press, rollers, hand forming, shaping, dressing, shrinking, stretching and wheeling.
• Drilling, countersinking, guillotining and sawing.
• Sub-Assemblies, deburring, sanding and polishing.

This position is based on a 40hr week

Monday - Friday (days) rate: 22.35p/h CIS/PAYE Umbrella (equivalent to 17.00p/h PAYE direct).
