Job Title: SEN Primary Class Teacher (SEN Experience)

SEN Teacher (Primary Class)

As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to primary-aged children with a range of special educational needs. Your role will involve creating and implementing individualized education plans, collaborating with parents and professionals, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Your role:

• Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents, caregivers, and school staff.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support student learning.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic development.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and participate in regular reviews and assessments.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
• Really good behaviour management skills (challenging classroom).
• Proven experience in teaching children with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.

• An Enhance Child and Adult DBS (or willing to obtain one)
