Environment Senior Solicitor

We are working with a leading law firm based in London for a Senior Associate to join their Environment team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will have strong experience in strategic and regulatory advice on the environment, climate, sustainability to clients and natural capital. The role will require experience with negotiation and contract drafting.

Desirable experience in a range of areas including advising on biodiversity net gain, natural capital projects, carbon offsetting projects among many other climate and sustainability and environmental matters.

Essential Criteria:

• 7 years’ PQE;
• Strong academic background;
• Preferably have experience working in a large regional or national practice; Understanding of the levels of service delivery also required;
• Willing to be main client contact and to supervise and develop junior members of the team;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Innovative and a desire to get involved in new areas;
• Strong commercial awareness;
• Technically excellent.
