Automotive Design Engineer

Are you a CAD Engineer with experience using NX?

Expleo are currently recruiting for CAD Engineer's with experience using NX, based in Bedfordshire on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be a focused, highly motivated, results orientated individual who works well under pressure and can work to a given deadline.

Responsibilities of the CAD Engineer:

CAD design and modelling of metal and interior / exterior trim components
Preparation of engineering release packs
Take CAD designs from concept to finished model and produce finished drawings for engineering release
Support during pre-production builds and launch phase
Assist in cost down activities on current production vehicles

Background, and skills required for the CAD engineer role:

Experienced NX user, including complex surfacing
Experience using Teamcenter
Knowledge of metal and / or interior / exterior trim components
A working knowledge of component manufacturing and tooling requirements
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work well within a team environment is essential
