BWD are seeking an experienced Investment Professional to lead the business development strategy for an expanding Private Capital team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal role focused on cultivating and managing relationships with family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), charities, and endowments across the UK.
As part of a forward-thinking investment advisory firm, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the business development strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting the firm’s innovative investment propositions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and implement a Private Capital business development strategy that aligns with the firm’s growth aspirations.
- Develop and nurture relationships with high-profile clients, including UHNWIs, family offices, charities, and endowments.
- Leverage and expand your professional network to establish new connections and foster long-term client partnerships.
- Act as an ambassador for the firm’s Private Capital investment solutions, promoting a range of tailored, whole-of-market opportunities to prospective clients.
- Work closely with the broader investment team to ensure alignment with the firm’s investment philosophy, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience leading client relationships with UHNWIs, family offices, or institutional clients.
- Can be based in either London, Birmingham, Manchester or surrounding areas
- Proven track record in high-end business generation
- Strong investment advisory and networking skills.
- Relevant investment qualifications required - CISI or CFA
