Job Role:

We are now looking to appoint a junior App Developer Support to be based at our Rugby headquarters. This role will report to the Group IT Manager and will form part of the team primarily helping out in the development of our migration to a digital platform using PowerApps and PowerAutomate. Some experience in basic I.T skills required due to the small team assisting on the Helpdesk will be required on an adhoc basis.

You’ll have experience as a Apps developer with a proven track record in architecting, designing and delivering PowerApps solutions within a project framework. You’ll have good working knowledge of the Microsoft Power platform including Flows, Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, and Power BI. You will have experience in cross-training and handover to in-house staff in PowerApps.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rugby, Warwickshire, requiring a commitment of 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Given the presence of Quartzelec business units throughout the UK, the ideal candidate must possess a valid UK driving license and reliable transportation for regular travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Group IT Manager to facilitate the development of PowerApps and PowerAutomate solutions
• Assessing opportunities within each business unit to implement digital platform migrations that enhance operational efficiency
• Engaging in discussions with the Group IT Manager and Business Managers to understand and address specific requirements
• Adhering to established design standards to develop user applications effectively
• Delivering technical support and training sessions for users to ensure proficient use of applications
• Assisting in the resolution of daily helpdesk support inquiries, addressing support requests through direct communication, phone, email, or the Helpdesk system

• Possession of a robust understanding in the following areas:
• Microsoft PowerApps
• Microsoft Power Automate
• HTML and CSS
• Integration with SharePoint and Dataverse
• Demonstrated excellence in communication, customer relationship management, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in problem-solving methodologies
• Exemplifies a strong attention to detail
• Possesses significant teamwork capabilities
