DevOps Engineer

Futureheads have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join a leader within the world of risk assessment technology as they expand to reach new highs.

For this role you will join a growing team responsible for the specification, development, deployment and maintenance of APIs and web and mobile applications.

The team are building out a scalable and secure infrastructure to support applications in AWS, all based on containerised environments. The next generation of applications are built with Laravel, Vue and MySQL for the APIs and web apps, along with Flutter for mobile, where the majority of new feature developments are done.

Role focus:

• Creating and maintaining deployment pipelines
• Writing Terraform config and Helm charts
• Deciding how to architect our estate
• Creating monitoring and alerting systems
• Helping other DevOps Engineers, developers and testers use our platform

To be considered you will need to be able to display the following:

• An expert in Terraform and Helm
• Having a container-first mentality
• Care deeply about building reliable, stable and automated systems and are proactive in
• Make decisive security decisions and are proactive in thinking about potential threats
• Can create, maintain and deploy EKS and RDS clusters and network infrastructure

£70,000 - £80,000 + bonus

This is a hybrid role, Central London based, 3x a week - Mon, Wed and Fri
