Senior C++ Software Engineer – Trading Technologies

A leading Hedge Fund in London are seeking an exceptional Senior C++ Software Engineer to join their Trading Technology team. This role offers the new hire a collaborative environment with an innovative team who are continuously looking to solve complex technical problems to ensure that the trading systems are reaching their optimal level, using all the latest tools and technologies on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing scalable multi-threaded software with C++ on Linux.
• Designing high performance, real-time systems.
• Working closely with traders and senior stakeholders within the business.
• Optimizing data flows and algo environment to ensure that the trading system is performing at its optimal level.

Required Skills:

• Strong C++ experience on Linux.
• Previous experience of building high throughput and low latency software.
• Confident in working closely with senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Kafka is a nice to have.
• EMS/OMS experience is desirable.

Total compensation on offer for this role is between £250,000 - £350,000 dependant on experience.
