Class 1 Driver

Class 1 driver wanted

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks, to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Skills:
- Warehouse experience: Familiarity with warehouse operations and the ability to navigate through inventory efficiently
- Flatbed experience: Proficiency in safely loading, securing, and unloading cargo on a flatbed truck
- Mechanical knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting
- Commercial driving experience: Previous experience driving commercial vehicles, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and dispatchers
- Delivery driver experience: Experience in making deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Van driver experience: Proficiency in operating vans for transportation purposes
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
