The Trainee Forklift Engineer role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

You ll form part of a highly skilled team of 10 in a very reputable business. You ll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of used and new forklifts. You ll also carry out PDI's and order any spares when needed and communicate progress. There is quite a lot of overtime for those looking to boost earnings.

The Trainee Forklift Engineer Role in Brief:
Carry out PDI s, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks.
Work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment.
Order spares when necessary.
Overtime.

The Trainee Forklift Engineer Person Required:
Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
IT literate
Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
