Cititec Talent is working with an exciting start-up, created from a leading global firm in the commodities trading sector. The company is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the infrastructure, ensuring scalability, and maintaining the high availability of the platform. You will also focus on integrating authentication and authorisation mechanisms such as Auth0, as well as enhancing security and networking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, primarily using AWS
- Utilise Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate the deployment of infrastructure
- Oversee authentication and authorisation solutions, including Auth0, to ensure secure access and user management
- Manage containerised applications using Docker and orchestrate services with Kubernetes.
- Ensure optimal network performance while adhering to security best practices across the cloud platform
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and support backend development
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong backend development experience, ideally with Python
- Proven expertise in Cloud/Platform Engineering, particularly with AWS
- Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
- Experience with authentication and authorisation frameworks (e.g., Auth0)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security practices
- Familiarity with Docker for containerisation and Kubernetes for orchestration
