Zachary Daniels Recruitment are partnering with a major convenience retailer in their search for a New Business Manager to drive membership and sales across parts of Devon and Somerset. Our client is a well established convenience store operator and has growing population of company owned and independent stores. For this role our client requires a convenience store new business expert.
The role
Our client is looking for a New Business Manager that will have the tenacity and ability to support the growth of the independent estate across Devon and Somerset.
Have the ability to demonstrate why our clients offer is market leading
Working with existing independent retailers and generate leads and convert them to our clients brand
Make in-person visits and presentations to prospective retailers to win their business
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective independent retailers
Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
Take an active part in regular meetings presenting activity, sales success and pipeline activity
Continually identify advantages and compares organisation's products/services for customer presentations
Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
The candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience in a similar New Business Manager role for a convenience store retailer bringing a network or independent retailers.
The Package
Our client can offer a salary of up to 35,000 plus a 1,000 bonus(uncapped) for each new independent operator brought into the busines plus car and benefits
