Location: Carrington, Manchester, M31 4QN.
Salary: £24,544 (£11.80 / hour) + £1 / hour night rate.
Contract: Full time, permanent. They will be working 22:00-06:30 Sunday-Thursday. 20 minutes paid break and a 30-minute unpaid break.
Benefits: • You will be entitled to receive a 5% bonus, based on plant performance.
• You will be entitled to a company pension which pays 4.5% employer 4.5% employee.
• There is opportunity of overtime which is x1.5 from Monday-Saturday or x2 on a Sunday.

We are now recruiting for a Fork Lift Truck Operator to join our growing team.

Fork Lift Truck Operator Responsibilities:

• Working in a safe and efficient manner as instructed by the Shift Manager.
• To ensure that environmental issues are reported immediately to site management
• To ensure that you are at you place of work in a timely manner as required by the business.
• To attend site Safety Briefs as required.
• To work in accordance with the Site Rules and Procedures.
• Report Hazards, Near Misses and incidents immediately.
• To ensure good hygiene practises are followed.
• To adhere to site rules and PPE requirements at all times.
• To ensure that site rules are followed by site staff, contracts and visitors.
• Follow Company Lock-off procedures
• Other ad hoc duties.

What we need from you:

• FLT, Telehandler
• Manual Handling
• COSHH Awareness
• H&S awareness
• Basic Maintenance (greasing, oiling)
• IOSH working safely or equivalent (desirable)
