Quant Java Developer - Java, Pricing, KDB


A leading brokerage firm are seeking a Java Developer to join their pricing teams to support their trading operations across the world. The company has a strong reputation for reliability, innovation, and excellence within the financial services industry.


As a Java Developer you'll be working closely with Quants, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product specialists, developers and tester. As a Java Developer with prior pricing experience, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining pricing systems to ensure their efficient operation and high performance.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance our pricing systems in Java and other relevant technologies (Python, C++)
  • Work in cross-functional teams to develop pricing models and algorithms
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure the efficient integration of pricing systems into our broader trading infrastructure
  • Identify and resolve pricing-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Be updated with the latest developments and trends in pricing analytics and Java programming


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Java development, including experience with pricing systems
  • Strong understanding of analytics, algorithms and pricing models
  • Python and/or C++ a nice to have
  • KDB a nice to have
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field


This is a hybrid role with 3-days a week in London being required. The successful candidate will also be paid £100k-£140k depending on skills and experience.
