Healthcare Assistant

Aspect Healthcare are recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to work within a private patient's home, on a 2-1 service in Wakefield.

Location:

Wakefield

Candidate requirements:

• Within commutable distance to Wakefield (under an hour) or a car driver
• NHS/Live in experience
• Experience with Neuro patients (desirable)
• Able to commit to at least 2 (live in shifts per week, ideally giving availability of at least 3 live in dates per week)
• Must be able to provide X2 professional referees from a band 5 or above.
• Must be able to start ASAP.
• DBS on the update service (or willing to get one in process with Aspect)

Role details:

• Providing care to a female neuro patient , within the family home on a 2 to 1 service
• Assisting the family with day-to-day care and support of the home
• Attending visits/appointments with the service team and the patient
• This role requires a live in , as the patient requires care throughout the day and turning (usually once) at night.

Waking Monday to Saturday hours are paid at 20.00 per hour (PAYE only)

Waking Sunday hours are paid at 22.00 per hour (PAYE only)

Sleeping hours Monday to Sunday are paid at 6.00 per hour (PAYE only)

Sleeping hours on bank holidays are paid at 8.00 per hour (PAYE only)
