About the Role:
We are looking for a tech savvy, creative and energetic Research Analyst, with the ability to contribute to a business in scale up stage. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the finance industry, preferably in alternative investments.
- The individual is expected to use proprietary technology to identify relevant investors and conduct in-depth research. Take the initiative and responsibility to complete short to medium term research task/projects that play a vital role in the company’s daily functionality and boost efficiency of the investor intelligence research team.
- Ability to rapidly understand our platform and processes, as well as assist senior analysts with research and profile updates.
- Strong written & verbal communications skills.
- The ideal candidate will have strong graduate level (2:1 or above) academic qualifications and understand the working of financial markets.
- Strong interpersonal skills: collaborative, curious and consultative approach to working with others and working together with a small and dynamic team. Willingness to share new ideas and contribute confidently within the team, as well as client and investor meetings.
- Additional technical skills in quantitative data gathering or coding would be a strong consideration.
Key features of the role:
- Confidently contribute to client and investor facing meetings, with the view to independently run meetings as the role progresses.
- Contribute significantly to the research and data efficiency goals of the investor intelligence team.
- Produce comprehensive research reports on global institutional investors & family offices mapping alternative investment appetite.
