About the Role:
As a Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring that designs align with both tried-and-tested engineering principles and innovative approaches when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
? Develop designs for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical building
services.
? Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
? Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
? Ensure compliance with building regulations, standards, and codes.
? Participate in design reviews and offer innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
? Conduct site visits to oversee installation, ensure proper implementation of designs, and
address any technical issues.
? Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation for projects.
? Provide guidance and support to junior engineers on the team.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
? Experience in the design of HVAC systems.
? Experience in the design of MEP systems.
? Experience in the design of electrical building systems.
? Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge.
? Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
? Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
? Experience with building regulations and codes.
