Role Overview: A Senior Account Manager will serve as the hub for all client initiatives and own the client relationship. They maintain in-depth knowledge of their client brands, industry, and customers and use that expertise to ensure our solutions & work meets the client’s needs. This role is also responsible for the successful delivery of scoped assets to the client, including ensuring that deliverables are on time, on budget, top quality, and adhere to all objectives outlined.


Internally, Senior Account Managers speak for the brand and make sure that all our work ultimately drives the client’s business objectives. As a business partner to our clients, the ideal candidate is both a creative and critical thinker and has strong strategic opinions on how to grow their client portfolios. They are a great relationship builder, have strong sales skills, and can negotiate solutions that keep internal and external stakeholders happy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead proposals, budgets, and timelines along with day-to-day client and internal communication
  • Strategically identify growth opportunities and collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Lead client transitions & onboard internal teams onto client’s brand & guidelines
  • Train clients on workflow technology
  • Manage teams across deliverables, from proposals and pitch through production
  • Manage and optimize workflow between departments
  • Continuously improve project growth, profitability, efficiency, and relationships
  • Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to clients
  • Stay on top of business and client concerns to head off issues early
  • Grow long-term healthy client relationships by developing and running quarterly Client Development Planning Sessions & Quarterly Business Review meetings
  • Lead the development and delivery of presentations that convey our solutions to current and potential clients
  • Pitch directly to new clients as needed


Qualifications

  • Creative problem solver with at least 5-7 years of related client-facing experience and a demonstrated track record of client relationship development and account growth
  • Previous experience with an advertising, design or media agency required
  • Proven experience working with offshore studios
  • Expert in post-production; including digital, video & print
  • Proven client service skills and the ability to deal effectively with complex client situations
  • Able to juggle multiple projects, clients, and deadlines at once
  • Experience managing roll-out of high-volume advertising campaigns
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and passionate about all things production
  • Detail-focused and logistics obsessed to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excels at leading day-to-day for projects and client relationships
  • Are fun, fearless, and ready to laugh in the face of adversity and at oneself
  • Excellent team player that is comfortable working cross functionally and wanting to build a culture of belonging
