This is an inspiring opportunity for a compassionate individual with experience working with adults in a similar social care setting to join our committed organisation.

You'll be at the forefront of our efforts to empower survivors, making a real difference in the lives of female survivors of domestic abuse and providing them with the support they need to rebuild their lives and find safety and independence.

Your work will not only enhance the wellbeing of those you support, but it will also contribute to our overall mission of building a more equal society where everyone feels safe and valued.

The Role

As a Mobile Support Worker, you will provide vital support to women experiencing domestic abuse, across Ealing and surrounding areas, helping them navigate their journey from crisis to stability.

Working across various supported housing services, you will cover short and medium-term staff vacancies to create a safe and empowering environment for women and their children, delivering a range of interventions that promote independence, safety and wellbeing.

Managing a caseload of women with high and complex needs, you will conduct risk assessments and develop individual support plans.

You will also provide practical and emotional support, advocate for clients' rights and connect them with local services to ensure they have access to necessary resources, including housing, healthcare and legal assistance.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage housing operations, such as monitoring rent accounts, managing voids and co-ordinating repairs and maintenance
- Facilitate service user engagement to ensure their voices shape service delivery
- Support the Service Manager in developing new activities and services
- Work with external agencies to build positive relationships and enhance service quality

About You

To be considered as a Mobile Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience working with adults in a related social care setting
- Experience working in a support role promoting independence
- Experience undertaking individual assessments including risk assessments and developing and delivering support plans
- Up to date knowledge of legal rights (criminal and civil, housing rights and welfare rights for women who have experienced domestic violence and/or leaving prison)
- An understanding of local and national approaches to tackling domestic abuse
- A qualification and relevant training on the issues around domestic violence and abuse, problematic substance misuse and the criminal justice system

You will also need training in relevant topics, including:

- Legal
- Housing
- Welfare rights
- Safeguarding & POVA
