Human Resource Internship at P&O Ferrymasters, an international company focused on logistics & transportation
Location: Ipswich, England
Date: Flexible period and number of hours/days per week
Period: 4 - 6 months
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s / Applied Sciences / Human resources management
- Fluent in English
- Strong team player
- Proactive attitude
- Living in Ipswich area
What will you do?
- To assist with employment contracts and all related confirmation letters, chasing references and providing induction’s for all new starters;
- To assist with temporary contracts, inform managers and chase accordingly;
- To assist with probation period reviews and appraisals, send appropriate forms to managers and chase accordingly;
- To take part in Human Resources-related projects and provide assistance, views and feedback when required;
- Update and maintain the staff database and providing statistical HR-reports when required;
- To update and maintain the HR policies and procedures and to monitor the onboarding and offboarding processes and provide feedback when required;
- To contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of HR systems and strategies;
- Dealing with recruitment; placing advertisements, arranging selection interviews and all other administrative tasks related to recruitment;
- Assist in exit interviews with employees who are leaving and completing reference requests from new employers;
- Interviewing for junior and administrative roles and providing management with feedback and advice about applicants;
- Act in accordance with, all P&O Ferrymasters policies.
