Job Role: Civils Buyer

Area: Maidstone

Salary: £50k - £60k

My client is looking for an experience Civils Buyer to join their business based on the outskirts of Maidstone, working closely with the directors duties will include:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent product availability
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance
• Stay updated with industry trends and new products to keep our offerings fresh and competitive

The ideal candidate will be:

• Proven experience as a Civils Procurements role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
