Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £36,400 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK Charity in their search for a professional Occupational Therapist to join their MDT. Working in neurorehabilitation and supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injuries, he organization is dedicated to helping people regain independence and achieve personal goals through expert, person-centered care.
As an Occupational Therapist, you ll be part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering specialized rehabilitation services and making a real difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice
- Deliver specialist occupational therapy within a neurobehavioral framework.
- Manage a caseload of individuals with complex needs, with guidance from senior OTs.
- Use evidence-based, person-centered approaches to assess, plan, and implement interventions to help individuals regain independence in self-care, work, education, and leisure.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, families, and external professionals to provide holistic care.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Support the development of rehabilitation support workers and therapy assistants.
- Prioritize and manage your workload efficiently, while contributing to broader service improvements.
Safety & Risk Management
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure clear communication to maintain the safety and well-being of individuals in your care.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registered.
- Experience: Familiarity with occupational therapy assessments and interventions (neurorehabilitation experience desirable, but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
