We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who is experienced in maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety in operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will act as the primary point of contact within the technical function, working closely with operations and supply chain to manage and resolve day-to-day technical issues such as holds, concessions, non-conformances, near misses, and complaints.

Ideal Profile:

• Previous QA experience in the food industry preferred, with a strong foundation in GMP environments
• Level 3 Food Hygiene and Level 2 HACCP certifications
• Competency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Trained Internal Auditor with a proven track record in continuous improvement and complaint resolution
• Excellent team working, communication, and negotiation skills
• Well-organized with effective planning and time management capabilities
• An inquisitive mind with a can-do attitude, open to learning and taking on new challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the QA team, ensuring effective management of daily technical issues
• Ensure all products meet strict quality and food safety standards before leaving the site
• Participate in Mara meetings, zonal GMP audits, and other relevant audits
• Monitor and record checks on production aspects as outlined in the Quality Manual, taking corrective actions as necessary
• Foster strong working relationships across departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Act as a deputy for the Technical Manager, involving high-level management tasks and team development
