The Role:

As a Production Supervisor you will manage a team of operatives within a machine build environment. You will deal with any issues from disciplinaries, shift rotas, appraisals, training schedules and upskilling staff. All people management issues will come under your remit so a strong ability to manage a team of people is essential. A background within food manufacturing is also essential.

• Shift leadership of a value stream team.
• Represent the value streams to customers or other external visitors.
• Participate in compliance audits supporting the maintenance of external accreditations.
• Contribute to creating and implementing a best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Manufacturing activities.

Undertake continuous training and development

The candidate:

• Production Supervisory/Team Leader experience
• Experience working within within assembly or machine build ideal
• Other manufacturing experience considered
• Strong people management experience
• Happy working a rotating shift pattern
• Six Sigma understanding or similar ideal
• Proven man management qualification ideal
• 5 S experience (ideal)
