Mechanical Engineer Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a well established client in the heart of the Leicester area who are seeking a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
-Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
-Manufacturing Environment.
-Salary up to 45,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of equipment.
Collaborate with the engineering team to optimise production processes.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Maintenance Engineering.
Proven experience in a maintenance role within an FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
