Housing Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Surveyor to join a busy Housing Maintenance Service for a Local Authority based in Bedfordshire who manage over 5000+ properties across the county.

You main role will be to inspect, and project manage the rectification of properties. You will carry out inspections of homes to prioritise repairs (major/minor), adaptation and improvement works.

You will lead on projects including planning, preparation, procurement, delivery and management budget ensuring they are delivered to cost, on time and to the right quality.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role such Building Surveyor, Housing Surveyor, Repairs Surveyor, Maintenance Surveyor, Property Manager, etc
• Health and Safety knowledge
• Housing and building legislation knowledge

Salary: £44,680 - £47,903 per annum plus Public Sector benefits including 25 days+ statutory holidays rising to 32 days with length of service, fantastic pension, flexible working, etc.
