Interior Designer Opportunity
Permanent Position in Essex: Negotiable Salary

This friendly Architectural practice works with clients in the residential, commercial and community sectors and have particular expertise in hotels, pubs and restaurants. Their long lasting client relationships allows them to add value, through their team of talented creatives, practicality and integrity.

We are happy to say that they are growing their team to support their on-going success and have a new opportunity for an Interior Designer. Ideally you have a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture, along with a working knowledge of building regulations. You will require a minimum of 2 years UK experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp, and a demonstrable history of working on hospitality projects, including restaurants, bars, and F&B establishments.

Experience to include:
FF&E designs / schedules / technical drawing
Sourcing samples
Production of presentations and mood boards for client review
Drawing furniture layouts and elevations
Preparing detailed specification of ironmongery, sanitary ware, electrics, finishes, joinery, etc
Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers in person, written and verbal
Site progress visits
Requesting quotations for FF&E and liaising with suppliers

This is a full time office based role in Chelmsford - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with an hour for lunch, four weeks holiday and additional holiday gifted between Christmas and the New Year.
Salary circa 30k dependant on experience.
