Machine Operator

Machine Operator required for a permanent, full time role at a recycling company based in Exeter - EX2

• 25,038 per annum
• Overtime paid at 19.26 per hour after 40 hours worked per week
• Monday-Friday (Apply online only)
• 30 mins paid break, 30 mins unpaid
• Free parking on site or accessible by bus routes Green and B
• Canteen on site
• Annual shut down between Christmas and New Year
• Promote-from-within philosophy

About the role

• Loading and unloading vehicles and ships using machinery such as 360 Material Handler, Wheeled loading shovel and Forklifts
• Ensuring that materials that arrive on site are processed safely and efficiently
• Carry out final inspection of dispatched materials
• Assist in the scheduling of inward and outward transport
• Liaise with customers, drivers and contractors who visit the site

The right candidate

• Prior experience of operating 360 Material Handler / Wheeled loading shovel / Forklifts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work flexible working hours to include occasional evenings and weekends
