Assistant Building Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic person keen on gaining hands-on experience working at entry level in the residential sector. The position is preferably for a second/final year Built Environment Student, studying either Building Surveying or Architectural Technology with a general knowledge of residential construction and typical housing defects. The position is flexible and hybrid, ensuring the candidate can work easily whilst continuing their other commitments such as studying.

Working with a Director of RKJ Property Consultants the candidate will undertake condition surveys of residential portfolios across Essex, Kent, London, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Regular access to a car and a clean driving licence is required.

The position offers up to 2 days of employment per week, but this can increase if desired, as well as holiday employment. All travel expenses and mileage are fully refundable.
