Location: Remote first - once a month in London office

We are currently partnered with a leading digital product consultancy who are currently seeking a Head of Engineering to establish technical leadership and improve best practises across the entire engineering team. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience working closely with the product team to align the technical roadmap, ensuring high quality and efficient deployment of mobile first products.

The ideal Head of Engineering will be someone who has successfully managed a small, agile engineering team, enabling the teams to continuously innovative and improve whilst maintaining team health and culture. As Head of Engineering, it is also vital that you can establish a progressive culture, from effective recruitment of Engineers to driving the high technological standards across the entire stack (C/C++, Flutter, ASP.Net and GraphQL).

Key responsibilities as Head of Engineering:

• Sustainably scaling and growing teams, setting the engineering standards.
• Leading the design and implementation of mobile first products.
• Experience understanding requirements from a Product and Business perspective to translate into a tangible engineering roadmap.
• Responsible for overseeing the successful delivery across a number of teams and business critical revenue streams.
• Advocating modern engineering best practice throughout the team.
• Hands-on experience and ability to roll up your sleeves when required.
• Understanding of C/C++, Flutter, ASP.Net and GraphQL.
