Overhead Crane Operative / Steel Worker

Our well established engineering client based in Bradford are currently recruiting for an overhead crane operator on a temporary to permanent contract. The successful candidate will be comfortable with working on a 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 basis.

THE ROLE:

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position heavy steel lengths
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Load and unload deliveries using overhead crane
• Putting stock away
• Transporting goods throughout the workshop to required bay

THE CANDIDATE:

• Experience operating an overhead crane (company will provide inhouse license)
• Experience in the steel industry is highly advantageous

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• 13.02 per hour
• 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 Rotating Monday to Friday
• Temporary to permanent contract
