Location: Leeds, hybrid
Rate: Market, depending on experience

Fruition IT are seeking an IT Asset Manager to lead a critical project for a client implementing a comprehensive asset lifecycle management process. This role focuses on enhancing their IT asset tracking and reporting through the Lansweeper platform, ensuring optimal utilisation of assets across the business.

IT Asset Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the discovery, cataloguing, and reporting of all IT assets using Lansweeper.
  • Ensure accurate data collection for workstations, servers, virtual clusters, network devices, software, and cloud services.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation, upgrades, and decommissioning.
  • Lead strategies for the replacement, disposal, and redeployment of assets, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve reporting, forecasting, and security management.
  • Implement governance for the security and integrity of asset data.
IT Asset Manager Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT asset management and lifecycle processes, including discovery and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Lansweeper or similar IT asset management tools.
  • Expertise in managing hardware, software, cloud, and network assets.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, asset depreciation, and security compliance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot scanning errors and asset tracking issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
