Job Title: Head of Warehouse & Transport
Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Warehouse & Transport to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of warehouse operations and transport functions, as well as driving key projects to enhance efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities of a Head of Warehouse & Transport:

• Manage the daily warehouse and transport operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows
• Lead and execute ongoing and new projects aimed at improving logistics, inventory management, and transport processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse performance and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements across the department
• Develop and mentor the warehouse and transport teams to achieve operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain management
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement action plans for improvement

Key Requirements of a Head of Warehouse and Transport:

• Proven experience in a senior warehouse and transport management role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transport logistics
• A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• A track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational targets
