Our client is a leader in providing premium building service solutions to top food manufacturers and distributors in the Southwest of England. Additionally, their renewable division offers low-carbon heating and cooling solutions to both commercial and domestic customers.
They are on the lookout for a Refrigeration Installation Engineer to become a vital part of their dynamic team.
If you have hands-on experience in refrigeration installation, a solid grasp of electrical systems, and strong customer service skills, this could be the perfect role for you.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience in refrigeration installation, preferably within food manufacturing
- Good electrical knowledge
- Commissioning experience is advantageous but not essential
- Proven strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communicator, written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure to a high standard
- City and Guilds F-Gas qualification (or equivalent)
- IPAF certification, Level 2 NVQ, and Braising certifications are beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
What will your role look like?
- Perform refrigeration installations, interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Utilise electrical knowledge and appropriate braising techniques
- Collaborate with the team to achieve project and company goals
- Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Travel to different sites around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required
