Main Tasks to be completed:
- Assess all business risks ensuring all correct Health and Safety Management tools are utilized correctly and all risks are controlled and monitored.
- Create and manage all Health and Safety documentation and policies, including safe working procedures, training documents, risk assessments and policies.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
- Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Ensure that all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented. Represent the company’s interests when Employers liability claims are raised, so that they are processed promptly and efficiently.
- Act as the main point of contact for external bodies such as the Health and Safety Executive, Public Health England, the Police, and other statutory bodies.
- Establish a full program of documented health & safety / environmental inspections, audits, and checks.
- Establish a structured program of health & safety training throughout the Company. Ensuring full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
Working Hours - Monday to Thursday, 38 Hours per week.
