Role: KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated KS2 SEN TA to work full time at this Good Primary School based in Henlow
Person Specification
- Some recent experience with managing the range of additional needs of SEN pupils
- There will be 1:1 duties involved within this role
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and empathy in providing for children with additional needs in mainstream education
- A keenness to work closely with colleagues in a nurturing SEN provision on a mainstream school site
- Recent experience in working in the primary classroom
- Desirable - knowledge/experience of working with children with a Pathological Demand Avoidance PDA profile
- Some knowledge of phonics
- Good knowledge of parent and report feedback including liaising with SLT and the SENCO
- Willing to reflect and work on feedback on observations of practice from the SENCO
