My client is currently seeking a top-tier Sales Manager to grow an industry-leading battery electric vehicle - and EVTOL portfolios, as well as get involved in some exciting new projects. This is a full-time role based at their Welwyn Garden City Office, with a combination of European & North American working hours - depending on the event cycle. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role for candidates with exceptional sales skills and attention to detail.

Specialising in meticulously researched and conceptualised premier business conferences and exhibitions, they strategically engineer events to provide unparalleled value and opportunities to the industries they serve. Their events stand as some of the biggest and best globally within their respective markets, gathering industry leaders, sponsors, and exhibitors - representing the most innovative technology and solutions.


This role will be within the highly successful EV Manufacturing industry, where you will be working at the forefront of mobility innovation. It is a booming sector, within which each of their existing sales team members achieves a six-figure take home.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the vendor marketplace; and define commercial categories.
  • Undertake extensive research to identify new leads for each conference, engaging prospects on commercial opportunities.
  • Sell sponsorship and exhibitor packages across multiple events and portfolios.
  • Effectively manage and maintain sales pipeline, provide accurate sales forecasts.


The Candidate:

  • A minimum of FIVE years B2B sponsorship/Expo sales experience, with an exceptional sales record.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets on both launch and repeat events across diverse industry sectors.
  • Exhibits the ability to grasp new topics and industries rapidly, identify key sectors for sales engagement, and effectively engage prospects via cold calling and email.
  • Displays exceptional communication skills with a keen focus on interpersonal relationships, combined with strong sales planning and accurate forecasting abilities.
