Sen Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants in Leicestershire.

With a range of positions commencing immediately, or interviews/trials presently ongoing.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable (although those in roles with transferable skills are encouraged to apply Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, Pastoral Assistant, Social Work, Nursery Practitioner etc).
• Experience of working with children is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and the ability to connect with students at Primary School age.
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning needs.

  Responsibilities:

• Support students in their academic, social and emotional development.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN.
• Working with EYFS, KS1 or KS2 children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to get)
