Hi,
We are looking for a kind, calm and fun person to care for our 10 month old boy for the long-term.
The hours will be Monday to Friday, 11:00 - 18:00, totalling 35 hours per week. Any additional hours for babysitting will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
He’s a curious, cheerful boy and we’re keen to continue engaging him in lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (games, reading, singing songs, jigsaws, craft, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks, visits to soft play, story time, music groups, etc ensuring that the he is happy and safe at all times.
This role is to include all nursery duties – general care, his laundry and bed changing, keeping all play areas clean and tidy. Any light housekeeping help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated. You will be required to prepare healthy and nutritious meals for our son each day, batch cooking when possible. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential. We’re a vegetarian household, so knowledge of vegetarian weaning would be useful.
Our boy has thankfully been a sound independent sleeper. Ideally, you’d have knowledge and experience dealing with sleep regressions and nap transitions.
We’ve been taking our son out to baby activities and would like to continue this. You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car.
