Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver required for an ongoing position with our well-established client in Houghton Regis, Dunstable. This particular company are well known globally, and are a great company to work for, all LGV trucks are modern and clean.

The Role:

The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday - Extra work at weekends you want it! This work starts immediately. There will be minimal handball required and most stock is taken off by a forklift truck. The runs will be mainly distance, no night outs are planned so you should be home every night. You must manage your own driving & WTD hours and always adhere to H&S rules. All Trucks are kept clean, please ensure you leave the lorry as you found it.

The Class 1 Driver will require:

Class 1 / CAT C+E entitlement on their licence
Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest

Hours & Pay:

The start time will between 08:00 & 10:00 and the HGV Class 1 Driver will work upwards of 45 hours over a 5 day period - Monday to Friday.

The Class 1 Driver hourly rate for this role is:

Up to 15.20 Per Hour Weekdays - Monday to Friday

Premium rate of up to 20.00 for overtime!

Premium Weekend rate for those who want extra work!
