Procurement Manager - Operational Excellence and Improvement | Real Estate - £65,000 - 75,000k per annum + 5.34% flex allowance + on target 15% bonus, competitive pension + benefits + hybrid working with amazing central London office, 50% of time in office and 50% working from home.


A newly created role to join a fantastic and well-known real estate company! This role is to focus on creating a center of excellence and continuous improvement to improve the procurement cycle.


This role is pivotal in driving innovation and maximising the use of the improved Source to Pay system while enhancing related processes. Responsibilities include governance, analytics, and development across the procurement function and lifecycle. Additionally, this role supports the procurement transformation program by implementing best practices, improving technologies, and enhancing user experience to deliver better value. The role also focuses on fostering adoption of the improved Source to Pay processes, optimising the ‘Buying Support’ function, and monitoring procurement KPIs.


What the role involves:

  • Lead and manage a team of five category buyers, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across procurement.
  • Support the procurement transformation program, embedding new ways of working and fostering innovation.
  • Develop and manage training programs to enhance user adoption of Source to Pay processes, including onboarding and capability building.
  • Oversee data analytics activities, ensuring contract compliance, data accuracy, and performance reporting.
  • Manage supplier performance tracking, coordinating KPI monitoring and escalation processes.


The person we hope to find:

  • Strong track record in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
  • Experiences of procurement within construction, property or manufacturing would be a plus but not a must.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience supporting implementation and user adoption of leading Source to Pay (S2P) tools, including training delivery.
  • Solid understanding of downstream (P2P) processes and KPI improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge of category management, sourcing best practices, and governance.
  • Exposure to supplier relationship management programs is a plus.
