MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - CONTRACT - OXFORDSHIRE
A long standing client of ours are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis, at their site in Oxfordshire working Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for maintaining key automated manufacturing and site equipment, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and supporting reactive breakdown situations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on new-to-world technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHS legislation and company policies.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated manufacturing and site equipment.
- Implement and document routine preventative maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with manufacturers to maintain service and plant maintenance provisions.
- Continuously seek process improvements to enhance safety, productivity, and reduce waste.
- Deputize for the Site Operations Manager as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Ideally apprentice-trained with 4+ years of experience in an automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Experience with high-temperature ovens, roll handling, hydraulic presses, motors, servo drives, and PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) is highly desirable.
- Qualified to C&G or HNC (Level 4) in electrical/mechanical engineering.
