Aspire People are currently recruiting a SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) based in Wollaton and surrounding areas.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team in Wollaton, working with children in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and KS1 (Key Stage 1). This is a full-time position with an immediate start, running until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Work closely with support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and implement strategies to support the progress and development of students.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with children with SEN, particularly within EYFS or KS1.
A strong understanding of early childhood development and special education practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable:
Additional qualifications or training in SEN.
Previous experience in a similar role.
