Product Engineer/Design Engineer

My client is looking for a Product Engineer/Design Engineer to join their ever growing team, you would be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment to expand and support our growth in product development in the waste-water/ pumps sector.

Must have 3 years+ Product/Design experience

The Role

• Work on Product and process concept generation, proto-typing and development.
• Research new product ideas.
• Creating drawings and specifications for products in 2D and 3D.
• Interacting with other departments and 3rd parties to ensure project schedules are maintained.
• Presenting design ideas to stakeholders.
• Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing specifications.

You

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in product development
• Product/Design engineering background
• Engineering Degree
• Ability to collate and comprehend technical and product information
• Computer literate; thorough working knowledge of MS Office, with use of database systems a strong advantage
• Experience in the pumped drainage industry or related service industry

• Salary 32,000- 37,000 depending on experience
