About Us: We are excited to announce the opening of a new, purpose-built Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) School in Lincoln, catering to students aged 5-19. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape a pioneering educational community from the ground up.


The Role: We are seeking a visionary and compassionate Head Teacher to lead our clients school. You will play a critical role in establishing a culture of excellence, inclusion, and support. We will consider an experienced Deputy Head Teacher looking for their next step in their career or a current Head Teacher.


This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of SEMH needs, a passion for innovative education, and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of young people.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the school's vision, ethos, and policies.
  • Establish a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the learning and wellbeing of all students.
  • Recruit, manage, and inspire a dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
  • Develop a tailored curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our students, incorporating therapeutic approaches and multi-agency support.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, families, staff, and external stakeholders to create a cohesive and supportive school community.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational standards, safeguarding regulations, and Ofsted requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, using data and feedback to refine practices and achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial leadership experience in a school setting.
  • Proven experience in working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in setting up or leading a new school or educational provision is highly desirable.
