Qualifications and Experience - Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Leadership & Management)
- A successful track record in a managerial role within a care setting, with previous experience as a Registered Manager and significant operational and organisational management expertise
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, including a proven track record in supervisions, appraisals, budget management, and familiarity with rostering programs.
- A deep understanding of care regulations and best practices, with hands-on experience in leading a service to full compliance and managing CQC inspection processes.
Responsibilities - Oversee the daily operations of the care facility, encompassing staffing, financial management, and resident well-being.
- Ensure that all care services maintain the highest standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of compassionate care staff, offering guidance, training, and performance support.
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment for residents, their families, and the staff members.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to ensure residents' holistic well-being.
- Supervise the implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring individualized attention for each resident.
- Uphold compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Address and resolve any challenges or concerns within the facility with empathy and effective solutions.
