New Product Development Manager

I’ve exclusively partnered with a Global Consumer Goods brand in their search for an NPD Manager. This role, reporting to the Head of Product Development, involves creating and delivering innovative product launches to drive the global portfolio over a 3-year development pipeline.

Very much a 360 role with a strong understanding of innovation, consumer insights, category, and shopper trends.

The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams, and possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Extensive experience in the consumer goods business/FMCG sector is a must for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Take on a new challenge by owning multiple key projects and becoming a category and consumer expert.
• Be a consumer expert, understand & communicate consumer needs, competitors, benefits, critical features, emerging trends, and commercial expectations.
• Build and present business case feasibility, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive day-to-day project management to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring your product to life across product designers and consumer research agencies
• Day-to-day project management.
• You will manage and coach 1 direct report, whilst playing a key role in the wider team.

If you’re an experienced NPD Manager with experience in the consumer goods industry, particularly in personal care, beauty, or hair products, then apply ASAP. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4/5 years of experience in consumer goods/FMCG, preferably with a background in global markets, especially the US.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams, and possessing strong communication and collaborative skills.
