Position Overview


Series Ventures is an investment and start-up company that has successfully built credible brands across various industries through its "start-up incubator." Leveraging extensive experience in recruitment, we have recently established SOCIO Group, a specialist recruitment company. To replicate our incubator's success, we have launched the "Topbiller" Incubator.

We are seeking proven top billers who feel constrained in their current roles and are looking for the opportunity to either venture out independently or build their own team or brand. The ideal candidates are ambitious professionals seeking security, guidance, investment, and a sense of community among like-minded, competitive individuals on similar journeys.


Key Responsibilities


  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base in various recruitment sectors, including permanent, temporary, and contract recruitment.
  • Client Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs, delivering bespoke solutions, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Implement a variety of sourcing methods to attract and recruit top-tier talent, including headhunting, networking, and leveraging social media platforms.
  • Interviewing & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to ensure candidates align perfectly with client requirements.
  • Account Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process for assigned accounts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: For those looking to build their own team, lead and mentor a group of recruitment consultants, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous professional development.
  • Market Research: Stay well-informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring practices to provide expert advice to clients and candidates.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and client satisfaction.
  • KPI Management: Understand and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conversion rates, demonstrating the importance of numbers in driving successful outcomes.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in permanent, temporary, or contract recruitment, whether in the UK or internationally.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success as a top biller, with a history of placing high-caliber candidates and achieving recruitment targets.
  • Client Focused: Exceptional client management skills with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
  • Communication Skills: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Networking Ability: Extensive networking skills with a strong professional network in the relevant industries.
  • Team Player: Collaborative team player with the ability to mentor junior consultants if leading a team.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Numerical Acumen: Strong understanding of the importance of KPIs and conversion rates, with a proven ability to manage and leverage these metrics to drive success.
